STORY OF THE MONTH

Telecommunications Store – San Antonio, TX – July 6, 2026
Suspects burglarized two telecommunications stores overnight. Merchandise from the first store, protected with a 3Si Phone Tracker™, sent continuous location updates and GPS intelligence to local police dispatchers through the DirectToDispatch™ pathway. Officers responded to the tracker’s signal as it paused at the second robbery location. Realizing law enforcement was coming, the suspects fled the scene once more. Investigators then used the tracker’s live location data again to follow them to a nearby apartment complex. Four suspects were taken into custody, and all $30,000 in stolen merchandise was recovered.

Bank – Denver, CO – July 1, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $1,800

Authorities in Denver responded to a robbery at a local bank. A 3Si Cash Tracker™ left the scene along with the stolen currency. GPS intelligence from the tracker was delivered to local police dispatchers through the DirectToDispatch™ pathway. Officers used the live location data to locate the suspect shortly after they left the bank. The suspect was arrested, and the $1,800 in stolen currency was fully recovered.
 

Luxury Goods Store – New York, NY – July 10, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $30,000

Merchandise was stolen along with three 3Si ORC Trackers™ during an organized retail theft at a New York luxury goods store. Verified GPS tracking intelligence reached local police dispatchers through the DirectToDispatch™ pathway. Investigators used this to track the stolen goods across the city and close in on a suspect. The suspect was arrested, and all $30,000 in stolen merchandise was recovered.
 

Convenience Store – Inglewood, CA – July 11, 2026

4 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $500

Suspects took a cash register drawer protected with a 3Si Cash Tracker™ during a robbery at an Inglewood convenience store. Once the event was verified, local police dispatchers received the location data through the DirectToDispatch™ pathway. Using that intelligence, officers closed in on the suspects nearby. Four suspects were detained, the tracker was recovered, and the $500 in stolen cash was fully recovered.
 

Big Box Retailer – Richmond, TX – July 13, 2026

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000

During a burglary at a Richmond big-box retailer, suspects left the scene with merchandise protected by a GPS tracking device and headed toward Houston. The verified event entered the DirectToDispatch™ pathway and delivered GPS tracking information to local police dispatchers. Investigators used the tracking data to locate the suspects. Both suspects were apprehended, and the $1,000 in stolen merchandise was fully recovered.
 

Clothing Store – Fremont, CA – July 14, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000

During an organized retail theft at a Fremont clothing store, merchandise protected with a 3Si ORC Tracker™ left the scene. GPS intelligence from the tracker was delivered to local police dispatchers through DirectToDispatch™. Officers used the location data to locate and apprehend the suspect. All $1,000 in stolen merchandise was fully recovered.
 

Pharmacy – Halifax, NS – July 18, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000
Two suspects robbed a Halifax pharmacy and walked out with products protected by a 3Si ORC Tracker™, and fled in a vehicle. Local police dispatchers received live tracking data through DirectToDispatch™. Combined with a vehicle description from store staff, officers traced the signal to a nearby residence. The suspect was arrested, and the $1,000 in stolen goods was recovered.

 

ATM – Hyattsville, MD – July 31, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY

Using stolen construction equipment, suspects removed an ATM from its foundation and transported it roughly two miles. A 3Si ATM Tracker™ activated and delivered verified location data to local police dispatchers through the DirectToDispatch™ pathway. Officers used the intelligence to locate the ATM before the suspects could access the cash cassettes inside. A suspect was arrested, and the ATM was recovered.
