STORY OF THE MONTH

Convenience Store – Houston, TX – October 7, 2025

Four suspects forced their way into a convenience store, smashing a glass door before stealing hundreds of cigarette cartons. A concealed 3Si Tobacco Tracker activated, providing real-time GPS data to law enforcement. Officers located the suspects’ vehicle and executed a felony stop, arresting all four individuals and recovering over 450 boxes of stolen cigarettes. The swift and coordinated response demonstrated how 3Si technology continues to drive rapid arrests and full recoveries in organized retail thefts.

Bank – Aurora, CO – October 6, 2025

1 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $1,380

A suspect demanded cash from a teller, who hands over cash and a 3Si Cash Tracker. Officers followed the live tracking data to locate and arrest the suspect, who was later identified as a repeat offender with prior bank robbery convictions. The full amount was recovered, and another repeat offender was put behind bars.

Electronics Store – Mt. Prospect, IL – October 10, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $30,000

A high-value burglary targeting electronics was solved within hours, thanks to 3Si technology. The stolen items included a 3Si Phone Tracker that transmitted precise GPS coordinates to responding officers. Law enforcement used this data to locate the suspect and recover the full $30,000 in stolen merchandise, proving how crime intelligence sent directly to police dispatch turns theft into a safe and effective resolution.

Luxury Goods Store – Kirkland, WA – October 15, 2025

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $6,000

Two suspects involved in a multi-store retail theft spree were tracked after stealing high-end merchandise. A 3Si ORC Tracker guided officers to their vehicle in Seattle, leading to both arrests and the recovery of stolen goods and a firearm. Investigators later connected the pair to more than $40,000 in cumulative retail theft. Thanks to 3Si technology, these armed felons are off the street.

Convenience Store – Pueblo, CO – October 13, 2025

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $500

Following a robbery, Pueblo PD located the suspect vehicle within two minutes of receiving the tracker’s location from 3Si’s DirectToDispatch Portal. A highspeed chase ensued, and two out of three suspects were arrested at the scene, and all the stolen cash and the drawer were recovered from the vehicle. Detectives praised the 3Si technology for providing the situational awareness that helped them respond immediately and with precision.

Bank – Royal Palm Beach, FL – October 17, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $3,366

A robbery suspect fled a financial institution after brandishing a knife and stealing cash. The 3Si tracker transmitted continuous location data, guiding deputies to the suspect during a failed carjacking attempt in a nearby parking lot. The suspect was subdued and taken into custody. The cash was fully recovered, and no citizens, witnesses, or victims were injured.

Electronics Store – Winnetka, CA – October 21, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $30,000

During a nighttime burglary, a 3Si Phone Tracker among the stolen electronics began transmitting. 3Si coordinated with police, relaying updates as the signal moved through Los Angeles. Officers apprehended one suspect and recovered all stolen goods valued at $30,000. The case reinforced the crucial role of 3Si tracking in protecting high-value inventory.

Dollar Store – Houston, TX – October 26, 2025

2 ARRESTS AND FULL  RECOVERY $2,200

Burglars used a saw to cut through an exterior wall and access the store’s safe, causing structural damage and starting a small fire. A 3Si Cash Tracker placed with the stolen money guided police directly to two known offenders. Both suspects were arrested, no injuries were reported, and all stolen funds were recovered.
