STORY OF THE MONTH

Pharmacy – Macon, GA – August 21, 2025

A coordinated group of suspects carried out an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Macon, Georgia. The suspects fled the scene with stolen funds and a 3Si Cash Tracker delivered real-time tracking. Local detectives heard the tracker alert over the dispatch radio and quickly located the getaway vehicle at a nearby gas station. A pursuit ensued, followed by a foot chase through a wooded area. Thanks to the tracker’s precision, both suspects were apprehended, and the stolen money was recovered. Investigators later confirmed the suspects’ identities and charges. No injuries were reported.

Bank – San Antonio, TX – August 4, 2025

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $80,000

In a high-stakes robbery, suspects targeted a financial institution and made off with money from an ATM containing $80,000. Fortunately, a 3Si ATM Cassette Tracker was taken with the stolen funds and alerted police of the crime in progress. 3Si coordinated with local law enforcement, providing continuous GPS updates as the suspects attempted to evade police. Officers tracked the signal to a nearby location where they arrested two individuals and successfully recovered the full amount.

Pharmacy – Scottsdale, AZ – August 14, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY 

A robbery at a Scottsdale pharmacy was resolved in under 15 minutes due to rapid coordination between local police and 3Si. A 3Si Cash Tracker taken with the stolen funds allowed law enforcement to monitor the suspect’s movements. Officers apprehended the suspect, and a full recovery is expected. Local police stated that they, “couldn’t have done this so quickly and safely without [3Si’s] product.”

Electronics Store – West Milwaukee, WI – August 16, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000

A suspect stole electronics valued at $1,000 from a retailer in West Milwaukee. The theft was detected through a 3Si ORC Tracker protecting the merchandise. Once the device began transmitting, 3Si worked in tandem with local police to monitor its movements. Officers tracked the device to a residence where they apprehended the suspect and secured a full recovery. The successful outcome once again showed how 3Si’s technology delivers quick, actionable intelligence that leads to arrests and asset protection.

Convenience Store – Timonium, MD – August 17, 2025

2 ARRESTs AND FULL RECOVERY $2,400

Two suspects broke into a closed convenience store overnight, stealing a large volume of tobacco products and lottery tickets. Among the items was a 3Si Tobacco Tracker, which transmitted GPS information as the suspects fled. Police tracked and stopped the suspect vehicle, arresting both individuals. Clear bags filled with stolen merchandise were found inside, and all items were returned. The operation showcased how 3Si’s theft response tools can combat late-night burglaries effectively and with precision.

Pharmacy – Houston, TX – August 19, 2025

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $500

Local police responded to a pharmacy robbery involving two armed suspects. A 3Si Cash Tracker hidden with the stolen funds was activated and provided GPS intel to officers. The device was tracked to a residential address, where police apprehended one suspect and detained another. Both individuals, linked to at least eight previous robberies, were armed with functional handguns.

Bank – Gainesville, FL – August 27, 2025

The device led officers to a nearby location where the suspect was quickly apprehended. The arresting detective personally reached out to 3Si to express his appreciation, stating that the arrest was only possible due to the swift and precise tracking support. The funds were fully recovered with no injuries.

Luxury Goods Store – Seattle, WA – August 29, 2025

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000

After stealing $1,200 worth of merchandise from a luxury goods store, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. Taken with the stolen goods was a 3Si ORC Tracker, which activated and transmitted location data to the local police. As the suspects crossed a bridge, plainclothes officers tracked them using a combination of the 3Si signal and drone surveillance. They were apprehended while attempting to sell the merchandise to known fences. All goods were recovered, and the affected store’s investigators and the local police expressed appreciation for the effectiveness of 3Si technology in ensuring a successful resolution.
