STORY OF THE MONTH

Telecommunications Store – Oakland, CA – February 15, 2026
Multiple armed suspects robbed a telecom store and unknowingly took a 3Si Phone Tracker with the stolen merchandise. The device generated GPS Intelligence, which was sent through 3Si’s DirectToDispatch priority pathway to local police dispatch and patrol units. The suspects possibly changed vehicles and officers were able to continue tracking their location using the GPS intelligence. They arrested all four suspects and recovered $30,000 in stolen retail goods.

Credit Union – Springfield, MA – February 4, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $870

A suspect entered a credit union branch and passed a robbery note to the teller. The teller complied and the robber fled with cash and a 3Si Cash Tracker. The device activation generated GPS intelligence that was delivered through the DirectToDispatch pathway directly to police dispatchers and officers in the field. The tracker was located, and officers arrested the suspect, returning the full $870.
 

Clothing Store – Long Beach, CA – February 4, 2026

4 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $1,000

Four suspects executed a coordinated organized retail theft and unknowingly took a 3Si ORC Tracker with the stolen merchandise. The GPS intelligence provided by the tracker entered the DirectToDispatch pathway and was delivered directly to responding units. The signal converged at a stationary location, where officers apprehended all four individuals and recovered the full $1,000.
 

Clothing Store – Stockton, CA – February 8, 2026

3 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $3,300
Three suspects planned an organized retail theft of a clothing store and unknowingly took multiple 3Si ORC Trackers with the stolen merchandise. The GPS intelligence provided by the trackers entered the DirectToDispatch pathway and was delivered directly to responding units. Officers tracked the signals to a reporting location, resulting in the apprehension of all three individuals and the full recovery of $3,300 in merchandise.

 

Big Box Retailer – Kerman, CA – February 10, 2026

1 ARREST AND PARTIAL RECOVERY $30,000

A suspect executed a theft and unknowingly took a 3Si Phone Tracker with the stolen merchandise. The activation generated GPS intelligence, which was sent through3Si’s priority pathway, DirectToDispatch. Local police dispatch received the intelligence and dispatched to responding officers who tracked the signal to a location where the suspect was identified and arrested, and the full $30,000 was recovered.
 

Bank – Hickory, NC – February 17, 2026

1 ARREST AND FULL RECOVERY $6,000

A masked suspect entered the branch and demanded cash from the teller. The teller complies and the suspect fled with cash and a 3Si Cash Tracker. The device activation generated GPS intelligence that was delivered through the DirectToDispatch pathway directly to officers in the field. The tracker was located, and officers identified and arrested the suspect nearby, recovering $6,000 of the stolen funds.
 

Convenience Store – San Leandro, CA – February 20, 2026

3 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $2,100

Three suspects targeted a convenience store and stole cash, merchandise and unknowingly took multiple 3Si ORC Trackers with the stolen goods. The GPS intelligence from the trackers was sent to local police dispatch via 3Si’s DirectToDispatch priority pathway. The intelligence directed responding officers to a single location, where officers apprehended three individuals, recovered the full $2,100, and an illegal firearm was taken off the streets.
 

Pharmacy – Halifax, NS – February 21, 2026

2 ARRESTS AND FULL RECOVERY $10,000

Suspects executed an organized retail theft and unknowingly took a 3Si ORC Tracker with the stolen merchandise. The GPS intelligence provided by the tracker was communicated to local police dispatch through 3Si’s DirectToDispatch platform. Dispatchers relayed to responding officers. They located the suspect at an apartment building, where officers apprehended two individuals and the full $10,000 in merchandise was returned.
