Jimmy retired as a sergeant after thirty years with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) of which he spent over twenty years working criminal investigations. Paul retired after a combined thirty-five-year career with the United States Army and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) where he specialized in Technical and Electronic Surveillance.

Manny retired after a twenty-six-year career with the CHP, where he built expertise in criminal investigations and operations. At the time of his retirement, he was supervising the CHP ORC Task Force based in Oakland, CA.
