GSX is always one of the highlights of my year. I truly enjoy reconnecting with colleagues and exploring the latest innovations and security trends. I find it fascinating how the atmosphere at the conference evolves from year to year. Some years, attendees are casually browsing technologies at the show. Other years, they are laser-focused on the sessions to learn about the latest trends. This year, the single word I would use to describe GSX is “intentional.” Attendees were there with purpose, seeking solutions and insights that will help them close the gap on the effective use of emerging technology to advance security and prevent violence, crime and loss.

In line with GSX’s theme, “First Line of Defense,” security professionals were searching for answers to questions like:

  • How can I harmonize my systems, so they function as a true ecosystem?
  • How can we use the info we collect as expediently as possible to thwart crime and violence?
  • How can we deliver video the last mile to the people where it adds maximum value?

For decades, the focus has been on the most effective methods for searching, identifying, and retrieving video, security system data, and relevant exceptions. Video analytics and AI have now cracked the code on analyzing and pinpointing meaningful data. The challenge today is shifting to how to share that data in a timely way with the stakeholders who can prevent, pursue, or prosecute crime.

At 3Si’s booth, security professionals were captivated by our DirectToDispatch™ capabilities, which allows for the instantaneous sharing of data with law enforcement the moment a serious crime is verified, whether it’s a GPS activation, live video feed, or a panic alarm. DirectToDispatch™ brings the right data at the right time to law enforcement so that crimes can be resolved in real time, arresting criminals, preventing losses, and most importantly, saving lives.

Real breakthrough comes from how critical data reaches those who can act on it. DirectToDispatch™ was built to close that gap and turn detection into immediate, actionable intelligence. DirectToDispatch™ ensures the right information is delivered directly to law enforcement and first responders. That same principle of intentional, instantaneous data flow drives 3Si’s broader ecosystem. From our GPS tracking solutions to our new dock door camera innovations, every 3Si solution is designed to push the right intelligence to the right hands — fast. Because technology only protects when it connects.

GSX Brought Together New Tools and New Insights

But law enforcement isn’t the only stakeholder. Through meaningful conversations on the exhibit floor, we learned that security professionals can use the same tool to solve everyday challenges, even outside of active crime events.

Many organizations struggle with complex systems that make sharing cases and intelligence cumbersome, especially across departments. Because the DirectToDispatch™ software allows users to share and manage video content internally and externally, it unlocks new ways for security intelligence to be shared easily and confidentially.

From addressing operational inefficiencies and staffing issues to identifying safety hazards, security professionals can now flag video and related data for virtually any purpose and share internally. Consider, can you clearly show where guards are needed, whether protocols are being followed, and where hazards can be mitigated before they become losses? Security professionals made it clear that there is a growing need for systems that connect data across security, operations, and other departments, enhancing both safety and efficiency organization-wide without an integration lift.

At 3Si, we’re always looking for ways to stay one step ahead of criminals. Our DirectToDispatch™ gives law enforcement the info they need as the crime unfolds, turning data into safer response for first responders. It started with our GPS tracking solutions, which have been helping recover stolen assets, arrest criminals, and keep our world safer for years. Now, by combining that proven tracking power with instant data delivery, we’re helping businesses and law enforcement respond faster and prevent losses before they happen. Every technology improvement and advancement we make is to strengthen our mission—getting the right information to the right people when it matters most.

Completely aligned with the intentional sentiment at GSX, we’re working alongside security professionals and law enforcement every day to further how they secure their organizations and communities. After all, security information is useless if it doesn’t effectively stop crime. We’ve accomplished a great deal in 2025 and are pushing hard in this final quarter to lay the groundwork for even more advancements in 2026. If you’re focused on where the rubber meets the road in terms of getting your security data in the hands of the right people, let’s have a conversation!
