Australia- Securisafe foils ATM Attack

A recent ATM attack at a bank in Australia was thwarted by the use of 3SI's SecuriSafe protection system. The robbers fled empty handed after their attempt to access the cash resulted in red smoke being released from the ATM and detering the thieves of taking their cash prize. The machine contained over $175,000(US) which was retained by the bank after the attack.

Brazil - SecurityPac Credited for Capture of Metro's #1 Most Wanted Criminal

Only 90 minutes after installing the SecurityPac dye pack system, 2 armed robbers took over a ticket booth removing cash, tickets and one FlexPac dye pack. As the suspects fled, a passerby witnessed the dye pack activation and called police.  Moments later police arrived. apprehended the suspects and made a full recovery.

One of the suspects was #1 on the Metro's 10 Most Wanted List having eluded capture for over 2 years and was wanted for more than a dozen attacks.

Brazil - Another Metro Success Story

Within one hour of installing the SecurityPac dye pack system and while personnel were still being trained, three armed teens robbed Metro staff of cash and tickets. During the robbery, one dye pack was taken. The three suspects fled to a taxi stand where they jumped into the lead taxi when the pack activated. Metro police observed the smoke and apprehended the suspects.  A full recovery was made.

Brazil - Success Continues

At the Metro East Line station in Sao Paulo, Brazil, a robber waited for the employee entrance door to open, then burst in, threatening the employees. The robber made off with tickets, $3,326 in cash and a FlexPac dye pack from the box office and safe. The robber escaped, however, it was not long before the dye pack activated, forcing the robber to abandon the loot. A full recovery of cash and tickets  was made.

Recent robberies at the Sao Paulo Metro prompted the need for 3SI SecurityPac dye packs. Two armed robbers approached the ticket booth and demanded the staff to open the booth. They complied and one robber entered and removed the contents of the drawer taking a FlexPac. The robbers fled and the dye pack activated creating witnesses and stunned robbers. 

The first time a security device of this kind was used and it created publicity and attention to the robbers and their theft attempt.  The thieves were arrested and they showed police where they abandoned the stained cash. 

Crime against the Metro dropped 65% for the months following this thwarted robbery attempt.
