3SI Security Systems Takes Over Agis-IQ

3SI Security Systems' Europe, based in Zaventem, Belgium, has concluded an asset purchase agreement to take over all ATM related technology, intellectual properties and employees from Agis-IQ Sec NV.

End-2-End Leader in Europe

Through this aquisition, 3SI Security Systems is able to complete its modular end-2-end solution for ATM protection.  A combination of the 3SI and Agis-IQ products will significantly straighten the company's leadership position in intelligent cash security solutions in Europe.  But above all, 3SI Security Systems will be able to fully serve all parts of the cash handling supply chain, based on its existing and newly acquired products and technologies.

Expanded R&D

The acquisition involves the direct transfer of 4 former Agis-IQ Sec technical staff, thus further extending the core skills, and augmenting expertise in smoke and ink degradation and tracking.  End-2-end technology is the next step in tackling serious crime on ATM's, bank and CIT staff.  By taking over the Agis technology, 3SI Security Systems will be able to protect the total cash handling supply chain and the people involved.

3SI Security Systems' Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thomas Oxenfeld, has retired following 28 years of service with the company.  Please join us in thanking Tom for his numerous contributions to the business and wishing him all the best.
 
3SI is pleased to introduce you to our new Chief Executive Officer, Mr. David Stanks.  David has been with 3SI since 2008 when he joined the company as General Manager, North America.  
 
David joined 3SI with fifteen (15) years progressively responsible general management experience in the automotive tier one supplier industry.  Prior to 3SI, David was General Manager, North America of France-based Valeo Vehicle Security Systems (electronic anti-theft, remote-entry, and latching systems) with manufacturing in Toluca, Mexico for three (3) years. Prior to Valeo, David was General Manager of Japan based Omron Automotive Electronics for six (6) years responsible for their US operations with headquarters and manufacturing in Chicago, IL, and with United Technologies Automotive as General Manager, International Division and President of their joint venture with Japan based Furukawa Electric Corporation with manufacturing in Juarez, Mexico.  David holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an Accounting major from Kent State University.  He began his career in finance as a manufacturing cost analyst and rapidly progressed to Controller before moving into general management.
